Majestic recently updated a hotel in the heart of Cheddar’s tourism area with new A+14 energy efficient windows and doors. The hotel owners, Mr and Mrs McLeod, wanted to enhance soundproofing, security and energy efficiency – and Majestic’s team of expert window fitters did just that.
Prioritising customers every time
Mr and Mrs McLeod, the owners of the recently refurbished hotel, wanted to entice visitors with stylish and comfortable rooms. They felt that a key component of this was replacing the dated windows and doors.
As a hotel, peace, quiet and security were three key priorities. Fortunately, Majestic advised the McLeod’s on high quality energy efficient glazing. Not only would this look good, but it would serve to reduce noises from the local area, enhance security, and generally make for a more pleasant visit for any guests.

The new uPVC windows significantly help to reduce noise from the main road and nearby bus stop, which is great news for guests. Equally, the installation has really enhanced the aesthetics externally – which makes the hotel far more appealing for potential guests.
Majestic were able to offer the hotel owners a wide range of style and colour choices. They opted for windows and a door that were Rosewood externally, and White internally. This choice helps the home improvements fit in with the general character of the property, as well as the wider location.
In addition, Majestic’s product range comes with a range of additional options. High security locking systems were fitted to the doors at the entrance of the property, which will be particularly effective in giving guests peace of mind that their belongings will be kept safe during their visit.
