How safe is our guarantee?

Majestic Designs provide a comprehensive 10 year government endorsed insurance backed guarantee with every product and installation, backed by the government TrustMark scheme. We are also a registered member of FENSA amongst other building regulations.

How do you ensure the workmanship of your fitters?

At Majestic Designs, we directly employ all of our installers, who have to conform to rigorous standards of workmanship and are MTC accredited. These highly trained installers, with their impressive standard setting attention to detail, are second to none, resulting in thousands of satisfied customers.

How long will it take to fit my windows?

This will depend on the number and type of windows that you choose. In order to exceed the high standards set, all of the fitting teams are employed by Majestic Designs and are all targeted on the quality of their work, not on how quickly they can complete it. We also employ our own surveyors who are MTC accredited.

What happens after we have accepted the quote for our home improvements?

Once you have placed an order with Majestic Designs, a specialist surveyor will visit your home to take exact measurements for manufacture; they will check access and plan the removal of any existing materials as well as assess any problems that may occur. They will then project manage your installation from start to finish so you will always have your own main point of contact.

How long will the visit from the designer take?

In order to get windows that suit and fit your home perfectly, one of our designers will need to visit your property in order to measure up your existing windows or doors and show you examples of frame colours, glazing and hardware.

Our team will spend only as long as they need to find out what you want in your new home improvement. We usually advise you to allow at least an hour, but this will depend on your individual questions and requirements.

What will happen during the visit from the designer?

Our designer will listen carefully to your individual requirements and talk you through our design and manufacture process. They will show our range of high quality products, take some careful measurements and work out a free no obligation quote – tailored to your project exactly.

How can I get a quote for my windows, doors, conservatory etc?

Why can’t I get a price online?

All Majestic Designs products are bespoke which means they are designed and manufactured to your personal specification. Because of this, it is impossible to give you a price online – we would much prefer to give you an accurate figure in person. After we have assessed your installation requirements, we will give you a quotation, with no obligation to buy.

Will I need planning permission?

In most cases you will not require planning permission to replace your windows.

What is the energy rating of your windows?

All of Majestic Designs’ windows are A+14 rated as standard. This means that they are among the most energy efficient windows available.

What other colour options are available?

There has never been such a fantastic choice of colours when it comes to replacing your existing windows or doors! Retain the look of traditional painted wooden windows while enjoying the benefits of modern uPVC double glazing with our fantastic Heritage Range of colours.

What is a wood grain finish?

Majestic Designs offer a range of wood grain finishes, that look and feel just like either a painted or stained wooden window, but because it is made from stylish uPVC, it is virtually maintenance free. As well as the bevelled edge on the frames, wood effect windows have a deep grain finish applied to the internal and external faces giving the appearance of real wood. Alternatively you can choose to have a crisp white finish inside to match your property’s interior, along with a wood grain finish outside.

Are all uPVC windows the same?

No, the quality and strength of the uPVC can be hugely different between companies, as can the manufacturing process and specification ancillary products such as reinforcing, handles and glass, etc. Majestic Designs take great pride in the quality and care we take in manufacturing and installing our uPVC double glazed windows and use high performance products alongside cutting edge technology to deliver the highest quality products we possibly can. Our windows are A+14 Window Energy Rated with a five chamber profile.

Can you match my existing style of window?

We offer a huge exciting range of windows to complement every home. You can choose from our stylish white uPVC windows, or one of our wide range of coloured or woodgrain finished uPVC windows. As all of windows are made especially for you and your property, the majority of styles can be replicated subject to building regulation requirements.

What do I do if I have a complaint?
