At Majestic Designs, we have worked on a wide variety of installation projects. From residential window replacements and home extensions to commercial refurbishments, our top-quality workmanship, high performance products, and outstanding customer care remain first class. Our recent work at the famous Wookey Hole Hotel not far from Cheddar is no exception.

Wookey Hole: a popular Somerset attraction

The Wookey Hole Hotel offers luxury accommodation in the heart of Somerset. Its selection of guest rooms welcome thousands of visitors every year from across the UK and further afield. To stay in keeping with the high quality of the hotel’s amenities, the replacement glazing needed to be of an extremely high standard.
Having previously worked for the Wookey Hole Hotel installing windows at the Bucklegrove campsite in Rodney Stoke, Majestic Designs were the first choice for the job. The hotel owners had been impressed by the standard of our products and the professionalism of our installers so decided to contact Majestic Designs to carry out the hotel upgrade.

Fashionable French doors and contemporary casement windows

For the main hotel complex, the owners chose our stylish French doors. At the first-floor rooms, the French doors were configured to open in to accommodate a small balconette area. All the windows and doors used in the project were A+14 energy rated to create a warm and comfortable experience for all guests.
The French doors and casement windows were specified in brilliant white uPVC to complement the building’s modern aesthetic. In the distinctive Witches Hat Tower, we installed a vertical run of three outward opening casement windows. They fit perfectly with the building’s design and have helped to provide a better experience for visitors to Wookey Hole.
The hotel owners were delighted with the completed installation. They are already welcoming guests to the newly refurbished hotel and are looking forward to another busy summer season at this unique natural landmark.
