(Q): What is a wood grain finish?

(A): Majestic Designs offer a range of wood grain finishes, that look and feel just like either a painted or stained wooden window, but because it is made from stylish uPVC, it is virtually maintenance free. As well as the bevelled edge on the frames, Wood grain windows have a deep grain finish applied to the internal and external faces giving the appearance of real wood. Alternatively you can choose to have a crisp white finish inside to match existing decor and a wood grain finish outside.

(Q): What other colour options are available?

(A): there has never been such a fantastic choice of colours when it comes to replacing your existing windows as there is with Majestic Designs. Should you choose to retain the look of traditional painted wooden windows but wish to gain from the benefits of modern uPVC double glazing then you will love our fantastic Heritage Range. (Q): What is the energy rating of your windows?

(A): All of majestic designs windows are “A “rated as standard. This means that Majestic designs windows are among the most energy efficient available.

(Q):  Will I need planning permission?

(A): In most cases you will not require planning permission to replace your windows, our uPVC windows can be designed to enhance any home and keep with the original features. We can however offer assistance with styles and designs in order to gain any necessary permission should it be necessary.

(A): All of Majestic Designs products are bespoke which means they are designed and manufactured to your personal specification. Because of this it is impossible to give you a price online –we would much prefer to give you an accurate figure personally with absolutely no obligation once we have assessed your installation requirements

(Q); What will happen during the visit from the designer?

(A): Our designer will listen carefully to your individual requirements and talk you through our design and manufacture process. They will show our range of high quality products, take some careful measurements and work out a free no obligation quote - tailored to your specific needs and requirements.

(Q): How long will the visit from the designer take?

(A): We usually advise you to allow at least an hour, but this will depend on your individual Questions and requirements.

(Q): What happens after we have accepted the quote for our home improvements?

(A):  Once you have chosen to place your trust in Majestic Designs, a specialist surveyor will visit your home to take exact measurements to ensure your windows fit perfectly; they will check access and plan the removal of any existing materials as well as assess any problems that may occur. (Q): How long will it take to fit my windows?

(A): This will depend on the number and type of windows that you choose.  In order to exceed the high standards set, all of the fitting teams are employed by Majestic Designs and are all targeted on the quality of their work, not on how quickly they can complete it.

(A): Majestic Designs employ all of their installers, who have to conform to the most rigorous standards of workmanship. These highly trained installers, with their impressive standard setting attention to detail are second to none, resulting in thousands of satisfied customers.

(Q): How safe is our guarantee?

(A): Majestic Designs will give you a comprehensive 10 year guarantee, we also offer a Trustmark insurance backed guarantee. As majestic Designs is a registered member of FENSA amongst other building regulations FENSA stipulates that all customers must be offered insurance that covers replacement window and door installations in the event of the company ceasing to trade. Unfortunately the industry has a history of companies both small and national becoming insolvent the customer is then left with a worthless guarantee and huge expense when any rectification work has to be carried out. This has been put into force to help protect consumers if this happens.
